Fall adventure at Roba Family Farms – Burger Pilot

Join Burger Pilot on a fall adventure at Roba Family Farms! A NEPA fun family experience with pumpkins, a corn maze, pig races, pumpkins, food, train ride, scarecrows, petting zoo, cannons & more!  For kids of all ages –  even the ones that are over 18. A great way to enjoy a day!

We bought our tickets ahead of time online at www.robafamilyfarms.com and saved a few dollars. There are a few options for types of tickets – we bought a few of the Barnyard Blaster tickets because they included Grandpa’s cannons and Paintball bandits!

As we entered the farm we were greeted by the Barnyard Animal Band and a giant rocking chair that is great for photo ops! We started out our adventure by getting lost in the GIANT corn “mega maze”. The maze took us about an hour to complete. Along the way there are stands with puzzle pieces that you collect and add to your map! My sister in law Deirdre was wise enough to “pre-tape” the map at the first stand in case there was no tape at some of the other stands. After the corn maze, we got some lunch, some of us jumped on the big bouncy pillow and did the tractor test track while others scaled the hay fort, watched the pig races and mined for gems.

Then the cool part… we got to shoot apples out of Grandpa’s cannons and try our luck shooting bandits with paintballs at Paintball bandits! I do recommend wearing hearing protection when shooting Grandpa’s cannons – the ones I talked about in the video are called Vibes and you can get them online at www.discovervibes.com.

Next, we took a train ride on the Kiddie Kattle Train (yes, even us big pilots and co-pilots could board this train!) I like to think of it more as a “cowtepillar“.  The teens & young adults raced down the Rock Mountain slides, and then we all played some corn hole then boarded the Wagon Ride and rode it back to the farm store where we picked up some apple cider donuts. *tip – we got a coupon  for 6 free donuts on a postcard sent to us! We signed up on their mailing list at our last visit.

There are campfire sites available to reserve and options for large groups to have reserved seating.  I suggest you grab your family & friends and take a quick flight over to Roba Family Farms! They are located at 230 Decker Rd in North Abington Twp, PA 18414. Their phone number is (570)563-2904 or visit them on the web for more info & to buy tickets at www.robafamilyfarms.com.
